PUBLIC HEALTH COMMUNICATION UNIT
The Public Health Communication Unit gathers surveillance data from non-traditional sources (electronic media, social media). In addition, it creates IEC materials and disseminates this through different communication mediums.
The Public Health Communication Unit (PHCU) Core Functions:- Disseminate Surveillance information through different communication channels.
- Inform the Public regarding new and updated health protocols and guidelines.
- Promote available Health Services of QCESD.
- Receive Public Inquiries thru QCESD HOTLINES and social media platforms.
