PUBLIC HEALTH SURVEILLANCE UNIT
The Public Health Surveillance Unit collects health-related data on all notifiable diseases necessary to plan and evaluate public health practices and institute public health intervention.
The Public Health Surveillance Unit (PHSU) Core Functions:- Collect and receive surveillance data from all disease-reporting units in Quezon City.
- Verify and ensure the accuracy and completeness of the collected data from the Disease Reporting Units (DRU).
- Monitor the prompt and active reporting of all the Disease reporting units in Quezon City.
- Conduct monitoring activities for all Disease Reporting Units.
